Motherhood - This One’s for the Women Who Hold It All
by Byron Bay Photographer, DEE STUDIO
It’s not about the brunch. Or the gift guides. Mother’s Day, if we strip it down, is about the women who are in it - quietly, fiercely, beautifully in it.
Motherhood isn’t one thing. It’s everything, all at once. It’s bone - deep exhaustion and an ache so sweet it feels like music. It’s wiping tears (sometimes your own), whispering “you’re ok” when you’re not sure you are, either. It’s early mornings. Long nights. Cold coffee. It’s dancing in the kitchen, screaming in the car. It’s wild. Tender. Unapologetically real.
So this is for :
The ones raising babies and trying to stay human
The ones who mother without title
The ones who lost, the ones who wait, the ones who are healing
The ones breaking cycles and writing new stories
If you’re showing up in your own way, you’re doing it right. If you’re holding space, holding hands, or just holding on - that counts.
Let this day be what you need it to be.
Big or quiet. Loud or low-key. Joyful, complicated, soft around the edges.
